        Basic module for one coil
These three modules are for those who want to make the assembly and the adaptation themselves. They are supplied without terminals, with long enough wires (40 cm, but any other length available upon request). A universal mounting bracket is used.
These modules may be supplied in 12 or 6 Volts. Minus is connected to chassis or frame.

All the ignition modules are designed by Carbier. Each module is supplied with its assembly instructions leaflet. This leaflet is often in English and French.

        Basic module for two coils
Note : le principle of operation of the Carbier ignition modules makes that a classic control lamp is not adapted to trim the advance : the lamp makes no light. One must use the Carbier control system, proposed in the accessories.
The modules for inductive sensor do not allow a trimming with a control lamp of any type.

Note : the twin engines do not necessarily have two coils : see the Citroën 2CV and the Harley-Davidson. For HD, mounting a Carbier module Reference 27 poses only problems of Imperial standards for the screws and tools. The results are impressive in terms of engine behavior.
Some twin cylinders engines have two coils but only one contact,  e.g. some vintage BMW, where two coils in 6V are wired in series. They are controled by one set of points only, and drive the plug in each of the two cylinders.

Basic module for three coils (ignitions with points)

This Carbier module is designed for the engines with three coils, then for three of six cylinders.
It is designed for those who want to make the installation themselves : the wires are 40cm long, and have no terminal.
Example of use : car DKW 1000ST (3 cylinders 2-stroke in 6 Volts)
Attention : some DKW have a network in 12V, but their ignition circuit switches into 24V during cranking. This system is destructive for the module Carbier ref. 57. Do not use it, or eliminate first the system which switches into 24V, so that only the 12V operation remains.

Wiring is to be made by the user.
